I'm Back!!!!

So sorry it has been so long. We went to the beach a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Big Mama was not sporting her beach body only a cover up! Caroline Reed never saw the sand or ocean because it was sooo hot!! Carter had a great time since she has learned to swim. I have been so bad about taking pictures.!!!! I do have a few from the beach and Caroline Reed in the bath tub. She is 7 weeks old today and such a sweet girl! We took our first trip to the ER Sunday. Carter fell off our bed and busted her head open on the corner of the nightstand. It is right above her eyebrow so she got a few stiches. Let's just say my kitchen looked like a homicide scene and the waiting room at the hospital was like being at the bus station!! We were there for 4 hours...hope we don't ever have to go back!!

Caroline Reed Stacy is here!! YAY!!

Caroline Reed came Tuesday May 12 at 10:02 am. She weighed 7lbs. 6oz. I actually went into labor at 2:45 am and was scheduled to be at the hospital at 5:30 am to be induced. When we got to the hospital things went really fast...totally different than with Carter. We are so excited and she is just preciious!!!! I promise to post pics real soon...I'm trying to adjust to having 2 now!!

Update

I went to the doctor last Monday and I was 1 cm dialated. She weighed 5lbs. 14 oz. at the visit. My doctor seems to think she is going to be about 6 lbs 6oz. when she is born. Who knows?? If Caroline Reed does not come early then the doctor will induce me on May 12. I go back to see the doctor on Monday so we will see if things stay the same!! Can't wait to meet her!! Big Mama went with Carter's class on a field trip to the zoo...thought that would send me into labor!

HAPPY EASTER!

We have had a busy week full of Easter egg hunts and fun parties! Caroline Reed will be here in about 4 weeks and we are so excited and can't wait to meet her! If I have not had her by May 11 or 12 my doctor will induce me then.

Matt did a great job in the half marathon in Seaside Sunday!!! It was FREEZING cold the morning of the race, but Carter and I were happy to be there to watch him.

Spring Like in January?

Today actually felt like spring so we headed outside to play...because tomorrow we will be back to winter! I thought I would get a few pictures to update the blog.

Happy Birthday Matt!!! / Name

HAPPY 29th birthday MATT!!!! Enjoy your last years in your 20's! We have decided on a name for baby girl #2....Caroline Reed...I love it as a double name, but Matt said he will just call her Caroline. I only got 2 pictures Christmas morning..no clue why I put my camera down! Carter was real excited about Santa coming, but looked so confused when she walked out and saw her presents. Her big present was a play kitchen. Santa and Mrs. Claus stayed up until 1 o'clock putting it together..thats just what they told us~~~ We have moved Carter to a big girl bed and it's great when she finally gets to sleep! I will try and take some pictures soon!

**Sistah Sistah**

Well....big Sistah is going to have a baby Sistah!!! We are so excited about another sweet girl! She was a little hard to figure out. She had her legs crossed so tight that we had to go to our Dr.'s visit then come back and try again. She finally let us know right at the end! Matt was right the whole time,me I was wrong! Matt said he and sweet baby Jesus had a talk a long time ago and that he would be having all girls. He is a great girl dad!! I've still been sick off and on...surely its almost over! Sorry I have not posted in a month. I will post pictures soon. Carter got a haircut and I think it looks so much better!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Happy Halloween(a day late)!! Big Sistah turns 3 today so I will post pics of the birthday girl soon. The sickness is starting to ease up...we get to find out what we are having on Dec. 1. I have been thinking boy only because I have been sick longer than I was with Carter..who knows??

Carter got to be the leader for her class in the costume parade since her birthday was the next day..she thought she was so cool!

HEY SISTAH GO SISTAH SOUL SISTAH!!!!!!

We are excited!!! I'm 8 weeks due on May 15. These past few weeks have been hard because I have been so sick!!!!!! When I am getting sick, Carter acts like she is getting sick too! I got dehydrated this past week and instead of going to the hospital my Dr. said that home health could come and give me an iv at home so they did. Now that I'm hydrated again I hope this sickness will go AWAY! Matt has been wonderful!!!! He has taken over every duty at home!! I really appreciate how hard he works for our family everyday....then comes home to take care of me and Carter!!! He has said to me in the past that everybody has said great things about their husbands on their blogs except me...well here's to you Matt Stacy for being a great father and husband!!

Back From the Beach

We had a great time at the beach with my brother and his girlfriend. The weather was great!! Carter LOVES the ocean...all she wanted to do was swim in the ocean! She did NOT want to get out and play in the sand! We went to the Wharf and Carter rode the ferris wheel and had a blast. We went to eat one night with the Barnes family and I can't believe I did not get a picture of that because I sure got a picture of everything else! Enjoy!

Lily Grace's Birthday

We had a weekend filled with birthday parties...I forgot my camera at the others but remembered to bring it to Lily Grace's. Lily Grace had her 4th birthday party at Pump It Up, she was dressed in her Fancy Nancy attire and looked so cute! All the kids had a GREAT TIME!! I accidently had my camera on the wrong setting, so some of the pictures are dark and not very clear..sorry! Not much to report around here. I will try and get better at updating the blog!!!

FUN FRIDAY!!

Carter had so much playing with Callie Grace, Carson and Caty Schmeltzer Friday afternooon in their backyard! She loves the water and had so much fun in the pool and going down the slide. Notice the sequence of the slip n' slide....Matt didn't think they were going down fast enough so he decided to help add to the speed! They also made time for bubbles....we are obsessed with bubbles! Carter decided to pretend she was working the drive thru at McDonalds. She has the whole drive thru process down pat. We finally shut their backyard down close to 7!

Carter pretended like she worked at McDonalds and was taking Carson's order. I think she is giving him his change in this picture.

New Pics

Carter had her last day of Mother's Morning Out today!! They had a fun party and played outside most of the day. We will start our summer session in June. Here are a few pictures before school and after...of course I forgot my camera to take pictures of all of Carter's precious friends from school!

Fun at the Beach!!!

We had a wonderful time at the beach last week!! The weather was PERFECT the whole time. There was an indoor and outdoor pool but we really liked the indoor pool because it was heated. It started out as an all girls trip, but then our husbands joined us toward the end of the week. Jennifer thanks so much for inviting us..everything was so nice!! I think I only have 1 picture of the girls togther....we were all after our own child with the camera and just followed them everywhere. I know the sunglasses might be a a little much, but Carter really liked wearing them and didn't want to take them off! I also got a little carried away with posting too many pictures. I took 245 while we were there so I thought I would post a few of my favorites! Enjoy!!!!!!

While I was in the shower the other day, Carter went into my make-up bag and got my Bobbi Brown base. She had a little art time..finger painting in my closet all over the carpet! I was so mad!! I ran out of carpert cleaner while trying to get it up....it wasn't working anyway. So when Matt got home I went to Lowe's to get some kind of heavy duty industrial strength stuff....well, came home with a Bissell Quick Steamer....works great!!! I'm not so mad anymore!

Good Time!

The weather was so nice the other day that Carter and I were able to spend a long time outside. Some of the pictures are action shots and the others are just me playing with my camera. She found so much to entertain herself while we were out there.

Cabin Fever and **Snow**

So...it was cold and rainy toward the end of the week and Carter and I were stuck in the house all day while Matt was at work. We watched movies, colored, and made everything possible with Play - Doh!!!! Needless to say, we both had cabin fever and were ready to get outside!! When we woke up Sat. morning it was snowing so we immediately headed outside. This was Carter's first time to see snow and she was a little confused, but had a great time!!

1. I LOVE cold weather!!!! My hair doesn't frizz!! I could probably live in Canada!!!!! Chubs doesn't like swimsuits and tops that show my THARMS (aka thigh arms)!

2. I am sooooo claustrophobic!! I can't stand air planes and elevators...they make me have horrible panic attacks. I once took the stairs to the 22nd floor because I could, and I was so sore for the next couple of days! I flew on my honeymoon and I really don't want to ever fly again!!

3. I am obsessed with General Hospital! I had never watched a soap until I had a child and this is 1 thing I do when she takes her afternoon nap!

4. I love to see how much Carter LOVES Matt! If she is awake when he gets home she runs to the door when she hears the garage door open and yells daddy's here daddy's here!! He is such a GREAT dad and they are sooo close!

5. When I was in the 3rd grade a man was mowing the grass and when he drove by our classroom window he shot a huge rock that broke through the window and hit me in the head...knocked me out for a min........this was the begining of my bad luck streak!! How random...of all the people.... me...right in the head!!

6. I love to take pictures...I would really like to someday do photography on the side. Got a great camera for Christmas!

7. I regret not studying meterology at MSU.... I did not want to be on the news. I wanted to work for the National Weather Service (dorky) I keep the weather channel on all the time...I have to know what the weather is going to do!

Christmas and New Year's Eve

Well...HAPPY 2008! I have posted soooo many pictures! The first group is of Christmas. We had a wonderful holiday and Carter got some really fun suff. She LOVED to open presents...the picture below is of when she opened her Dora tennis racquet...she was so excited! Carter also got a guitar and she did her rock star pose for me! The last Christmas picture was when she was so tired of me taking pictures and she was ready for bed! The second group of pictures is of New Year's Eve. We went to the Segrest's lake house and had a great time!! I did not get any pictures of the adults...just the kids trying to watch Elmo on Camp's DVD player for the car. They would not sit down to watch it. Camp, Luke and Carter got as close as they possibly could..oh and please notice the stickers!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Sorry it has been FOREVER since I posted!! Our computer died and can't be fixed!! TRAGIC!!!! I am using Matt's work computer to check email and blogs. I wanted to share our Christmas card with everyone...again sometime when I scan stuff it looks blurry!! I hope everyone has a safe and WONDERFUL Christmas!!

SANTA CLAUSE!!!! Where are you??

While we were in Tupelo we took Carter to see Santa Clause. When we got there Santa was on a break. Carter started yelling "Santa Clause....Where are you?" We went back after the break was over and had her picture made. Now I am usually not a fan on the "Mall Santa" but this one was great! But, why in the world did they have to put a "winter wonderland" border of snowflakes and a snowman around my picture...so I tried to crop the picture. The picture quality is not gret because I had to scan it and it did not scan real clear. I have started trying to decorate my house for Christmas...and my marathon of Christmas music has started. I still continue to boycott the song "I Saw Mama Kissing Santa Clause" DRIVES ME CRAZY!! If I was telling someone all this in person I would be using my quote fingers a lot!! Chase and I used to LOVE to use quote fingers!! RANDOM... Well now the mission will be the Christmas card picture....ohhhh such a challenge!!!

YAY HALEY!!!!!!!!!!

This is a picture from a convention Matt had this summer in Orange Beach. Not to sure who is holding Carter...He came by our table and said do you want to have your picture made with the governor?? So I passed her off..when Haley was leaving he walked over and said bye Carter...he had no clue what our names were....just her's. The next week Matt had this picture on his desk at work. So I thought I would share it in honor of Haley Barbour's VICTORY!!!

We had Carter's birthday party Sat. at The Play Place. She had great time!! Thanks to all the friends and family that came..she LOVES all her gifts! I promise she had friends at her party....I was so busy, I didn't get many pictures. Carter just seems to be the only one in every picture! I am going to hand my camera off to someone else next year! And for the cookie cake...let's just say I got a trainee at the Cookie Co. that did Carter's design...I could have done a better job!!
